| Quivey's Grove offers several memorable settings for your
wedding ceremony*. The most popular is in the front yard, with either the
large birch tree as a backdrop, or our natural area with native understory bushes and wildflowers under a canopy of black walnut trees.
Brides often use the Nursery room of the Stone House to dress and then
come down the formal stairway to be escorted out the front door and down
the aisle. Bridal parties have left the grounds natural for an informal
setting, or decorated with grape vine trellis, white runners, satin
ribbons, and lavish flowers. In case of inclement weather, our large 30'
x 75' white tent can be set up to accommodate the ceremony quite
successfully. Either way, the setting is picture perfect.
During the colder months of the year, ceremonies are held in one of the dining rooms of the Stone House. The guests are limited to about thirty people. There is a fee of $150 to have your ceremony on the grounds or $75 to have it in one of the dining rooms of the Stone House. Chairs can be set up outside for the cost of rental plus a set up fee. *Wedding ceremonies at Quivey's Grove can only be done in conjunction with a reception or dinner. We do not do ceremonies only. |
